Terms of Purchase

Terms of Purchase for Redwingshoen

These Terms of Purchase govern all transactions made through the Redwingshoen website (hereinafter "the Site") for the purchase of work boots and lifestyle heritage footwear (hereinafter "Products") for men and women. By placing an order on the Site, you (hereinafter "the Customer") agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
  1. Order Placement & Confirmation
1.1 To place an order, the Customer must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during checkout, including full name, shipping address, contact details, and payment information. Redwingshoen reserves the right to reject or cancel any order if the provided information is incorrect, incomplete, or suspected of being fraudulent (e.g., mismatched billing/shipping addresses, invalid payment details).
1.2 Upon submitting an order, the Customer will receive an automated order confirmation email containing the order number, Product details (e.g., style, size, quantity of work boots or heritage footwear), total amount, and basic shipping information. This confirmation does not constitute final acceptance of the order—Redwingshoen will send a separate "shipping confirmation email" once the order is processed and dispatched, which signifies formal acceptance.
1.3 The total amount displayed at checkout (including Product price and applicable taxes) is final and quoted exclusively in United States Dollars (USD)—the sole currency accepted for all transactions on the Site.
  1. Payment Terms
2.1 The Customer may use the payment methods specified on the Site (e.g., credit card, debit card, digital wallets) to complete the transaction. All payments are processed securely through our authorized payment gateway, and Redwingshoen does not store or access the Customer’s full payment card details.
2.2 Payment must be completed in full at the time of order placement. If payment is declined (e.g., insufficient funds, expired card, security restrictions), the order will not be processed until the Customer provides valid payment information.
2.3 Any applicable taxes (e.g., sales tax, value-added tax) are calculated based on the Customer’s shipping address and included in the total order amount at checkout. Redwingshoen is not responsible for any additional customs duties or import taxes imposed by the Customer’s country—such fees (if applicable) are the sole responsibility of the Customer and must be paid upon delivery.
  1. Shipping & Delivery
3.1 Processing Time: Redwingshoen aims to process and dispatch all valid orders within 1-3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and major holidays). Processing time does not include weekends, holidays, or delivery transit time, and may be extended by 1-2 business days during peak periods (e.g., holiday sales, new work boot launches) due to higher order volume.
3.2 Delivery Time: After dispatch, the estimated delivery time for all orders is 6-12 business days. This timeline is an estimate and may be affected by factors beyond Redwingshoen’s control, including customs clearance delays, local postal service disruptions, extreme weather, or remote delivery locations. Redwingshoen will not be liable for delivery delays caused by such external factors.
3.3 Shipping Costs: Redwingshoen offers free global shipping for all orders, with no minimum purchase requirement—this benefit applies to all Products, from work boots to lifestyle heritage footwear, regardless of the Customer’s location. The shipping method is selected by Redwingshoen based on the destination to ensure timely and secure delivery (e.g., tracked courier for delicate heritage footwear, durable shipping for heavy work boots).
3.4 Shipping Confirmation & Tracking: Once the order is dispatched, the Customer will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number and a link to monitor delivery status. The Customer is responsible for tracking the order and being available to receive delivery at the provided address—especially for bulk or heavy orders (e.g., multiple pairs of work boots) that may require signature confirmation.
3.5 Undelivered Orders: If an order is returned to Redwingshoen due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, or the Customer’s refusal to accept delivery, the Customer will be notified via email. The Customer may request a reshipment (subject to reprocessing and standard delivery timelines) or a refund (minus non-refundable fees, if applicable)—no additional shipping costs will be charged for reshipment, but the Customer must provide the correct address promptly.
  1. Return Policy
4.1 Eligibility: The Customer may return any unused, unworn, and undamaged Products for a refund or exchange within 60 days from the date of delivery. Products that have been worn (e.g., scuffed work boot soles, stretched heritage shoe uppers), altered (e.g., trimmed laces, modified insoles), or returned without original packaging (e.g., shoe boxes, dust bags, size tags) are not eligible for return. For work boots with safety features (e.g., steel toes), any damage to safety components will also render the Product ineligible.
4.2 Return Process: To initiate a return, the Customer must first contact Redwingshoen’s customer service team via [email protected] with the following information: order number, Product style/size, reason for return, and photos of the Product (if damaged during transit). The team will respond within 1-2 business days with a return authorization (RA) number and detailed instructions (including the return shipping address).
4.3 Return Shipping: The Customer is responsible for arranging and covering the cost of return shipping, unless the return is due to a mistake by Redwingshoen (e.g., incorrect size/style shipped, defective Product—such as a faulty work boot zipper or torn heritage shoe stitching). In such cases, Redwingshoen will provide a prepaid return shipping label.
4.4 Inspection of Returned Products: Upon receiving the returned Products, Redwingshoen will inspect them to verify eligibility. If the Products meet the return criteria, the refund or exchange process will be initiated; if not, the Products will be shipped back to the Customer, and no refund will be issued.
  1. Refund Policy
5.1 Refund Processing Time: Once returned Products are inspected and approved, Redwingshoen will initiate the refund within 1-2 business days. The refund will be credited to the original payment method used for the order, and the time for the refund to appear in the Customer’s account is 5-10 business days (depending on the Customer’s bank or payment provider’s processing time).
5.2 Refund Amount: The refund amount will be the total Product price paid (excluding non-refundable costs like customs duties, import taxes, or Customer-incurred return shipping fees). Redwingshoen does not charge any restocking fees for eligible returns, even for bulk orders (e.g., multiple pairs of work boots).
5.3 Cancelled Orders: If the Customer cancels an order before it is dispatched, a full refund will be issued within 5-10 business days. If the order has already been dispatched, the Customer must follow the return process outlined in Section 4 to request a refund.
  1. Product Availability & Pricing
6.1 Product availability is indicated on the Site at the time of order placement. Redwingshoen reserves the right to update availability at any time—if a Product (e.g., a specific size of work boot or heritage loafer) is out of stock after the Customer places an order, Redwingshoen will notify the Customer via email and issue a full refund within 5-10 business days.
6.2 Redwingshoen reserves the right to adjust Product prices at any time without prior notice. However, the price charged to the Customer will be the price displayed at the time of order placement (provided the order is accepted by Redwingshoen).
  1. Limitation of Liability
7.1 Redwingshoen shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the purchase, use, or inability to use the Products, or from delivery delays—except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct by Redwingshoen. This includes (but is not limited to) damages from wear and tear of work boots beyond normal use, or color fading of heritage footwear due to improper care.
7.2 Redwingshoen’s total liability for any claim related to a transaction shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Customer for the affected order.
  1. Modification of Terms
Redwingshoen reserves the right to modify these Terms of Purchase at any time. Any changes will be posted on the Site with an updated "last revised" date. The Customer’s continued use of the Site to make purchases after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
